Heather (Stack) Hefford, BSc, RMT, DOMP

Originally from Gander, Heather Hefford attended ICT Northumberland College in Halifax, NS, where she graduated from her 2200-hour program with honors in 2002. Before finding her passion in massage therapy, Heather also obtained a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University in 1999. Some of her specializations include Swedish, Hot Stone, Cupping, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ), Sports, and Pregnancy Massage, and Myofascial Integration.  In 2018 Heather completed the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada program from the National Academy of Osteopathy. She is now a member of the Canadian Union of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and has knowledge and expertise on the treatment of chronic pain.   Her overall clientele is extremely diverse, ranging from pre-teens to seniors, with varying levels of health and ability. Heather’s passion for massaging stems from giving clients the opportunity to improve activities of daily living by treating tendinitis, headache, insomnia, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, or simply providing a tool for stress relief; allowing clients an opportunity to become more in tune with their mind and body. Improving her client’s lifestyles is something that Heather takes pride in, and is the reason that she finds her career rewarding.
